Happy Thanksgiving
Because we should give thanks daily
Dear you (insert your name here),
Ok, no I’m not going crazy.
But I started writing a newsletter about Thanksgiving and then just completely forgot to send it.
Here it is below:
Last Thanksgiving I thanked G-d for giving me my health. For overcoming cancer.
It was easy. I was alive, healthy, and walking.
But we don’t always have things to be grateful for.
This year I’m annoyed. My books didn’t sell. I’m not a bestseller richer than JKR.
But I wrote a book. I published it.
I mean, I’m pretty sure I can be grateful for that.
In other news…
Nanowrimo is over in two days.
I have 44K+ words and counting.
It is flapping hard. (geddit??) Even though I’ve done it SO many times before.
I have a way that you as a reader can help me. If, you know, you want to be helpful.
Let me know if you have any questions from The World of Nothing. Anything you want me to expand upon in Volume 2.
This information would be fantastic for me to be able to build on certain characters or scenes.
If you don’t have a question then just reply with the first thing that comes to mind when you think of TWON (my cool abbreviation for The World Of Nothing).
Good luck with all the goals you’re trying to accomplish. Even if it doesn’t get easier, it is pretty satisfying to work on them.
Desirable days to all,
Shari Brick, the famous author
P.S.
